    Bayfield Wisconsin is on the south shore of Lake Superior, the greatest of the Great Lakes, and it is the departing point for access to the Apostle Islands, a pristine archipelago of twenty-two islands. Twenty-one of those islands and twelve miles of mainland shoreline comprise the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, home to six light stations with a total of eight lighthouses. Planning to visit? ​Keeper of the Light is located at 19 Front St in Bayfield WI. We are on the waterfront next to the Apostle Islands Cruises ticket office, between the Bayfield City Dock and the Madeline Island Ferry Dock.
